Darryn fifth in the Italian GP on a sad day for the sport

After the sad news from today of the death of Jason Dupasquier, PETRONAS Sprinta Racing and their riders sent condolences to Jason Dupasquier’s team, family and friends at this difficult time.

The Moto3 race at Mugello saw both PETRONAS Sprinta Racing riders take turns in the lead and earn a large number of points. Darryn Binder ended the race fifth, while teammat John McPhee crossed the line ninth but moved up to seventh following penalties for other riders.

Darryn now moves into sixth in the world championship.

The race was the race today; it’s not something I want to talk about in the circumstances. I want to send my deepest condolences to Jason’s family, his team and his friends. I’m really sad to hear the news. Rest in peace Jason.
