Darryn to miss Silverstone, aiming for Aragon return

The ITALJET GRESINI Moto2 team is flying off to the United Kingdom for the seventh round of the MotoGP World Championship, which will be held at the Silverstone track. It will be a half-service Moto2 team with Darryn Binder being forced to miss this round: the South African is recovering quickly from last week’s surgery (a fractured ulna in his left arm) but he will only be available again for the Aragon GP.

“Last Tuesday’s surgery went well, so far recovering is going really well too and this week I started physiotherapy: I’m really disappointed to be missing Silverstone, it’s a really cool GP and I’m sad to not be able to race there this year, but the focus now is to heal up as quick and as best as possible, to try to arrive in Aragon in the best shape as I can. Let’s see what we can do: hopefully we’ll be at our 100% again in Aragon and I’m looking forward to be back on track with my team. I wish the other side of the box and to Albert very good luck for Silverstone, I can’t wait to see everybody soon!”
